The founder of the Help Hope and Smiles Foundation has always been active in his community. He has volunteered for the PAL bowling league for 30 years and started a travel bowling scholarship league. In the past he has helped raise money for The guide dogs for veterans, support for breast cancer patients and research for multiple sclerosis. His wife works as a teachers aide with children who have learning disabilities. Both of their experiences has raised their awareness of underprivileged as well as autistic children that would greatly benefit from your support.
Here at The Help Hope and Smiles Foundation we are dedicated to giving children with autism the chance to reach their potential and improve their quality of life.
Our plan to help these children achieve these goals is to provide them with an affordable way to receive Music Therapy directly through The Help Hope and Smiles Foundation. We are excited to announce that going forward we will be raising funds through our website to create a facility that will provide these children with this amazing therapy.
That being said this is no small task and we greatly need your help. Our target goal to begin providing these services is $100,000 which will go towards a large physical space, a great many instruments for the therapist and of course, the children, sensory floor mats, seating, sensory décor, and funds to pay for the certified music therapists. We will also have to cover administrative cost to keep our facility operating smoothly while keeping down the cost to the families we help.
While we are working to accomplish this goal, we are offering free music workshops periodically for children with autism. It is your donations that make this possible and we greatly appreciate it. If you are interested in attending one of our free workshops, please go to our Events and Fundraisers page for more information.
